Glycolic Acid

Used 2 - 3x per week with no other acid product prescribed. Take a less is more approach as this product is very strong and should be treated as a peel in a lotion. If irritation is felt, rinse with water and reduce amount used with next application. It is also possible to mix with Skincare Science’s Hydration Lotion for a weaker product.

Skincare Science recommends using this product only 2 - 3x per week depending on skin type and skin condition. This is a very strong product and care needs to be taken when prescribed. It is very easy to over thin the stratum corneum with continued use of this product.

Protect the skin from the sun at all times when using a resurfacing product. Glycolic acid can make the skin sensitive to the sun’s rays.
